Roof

You can change colours and textures, but it will affect the cost of this package.

Most houses have at least two types of cladding, to create interest. Our designers will work with you to help choose the cladding options that work best for you. Here are a few common options:

Weatherboard

The traditional Kiwi cladding for over 100 years. Available in a range of profiles in both horizontal & vertical fixing. The Weatherboard looks can be achieved using traditional Timber, or the very low-maintenance products like 'Linea', or 'Palliside'

BRICK

Provides a solid timeless look with the selection of new generation brick colours, textures & sizes available providing the opportunity to add that point of difference to your home. Mortar, often overlooked, is also available in a choice of colours and joint finish and can change the finished look - a great way to add that personal touch.

PLY AND BATTEN

A Ply & Batten cladding system simulates the original rustic Board & Batten look but offers a more stable finish. Utilising the CHH ShadowClad Ply as the base lining provides the weather-tight layer over which the grooved batten is fixed at the nominated centres. Stained or painted this system is making a comeback providing both a contrasting feature wall and as a full house cladding option.

Titan Facade Panel

James Hardies provides a range of composite board and panel cladding options. Titan Facade Panel offers a sharp, flat semi commercial look. Installed with a negative jointing detail enhances the panel effect and provides a striking contemporary feature. Being a composite board it can be painted in a darker colour palette.

Schist - Stone Veneer

This architectural stone veneer system is a cost effective method of achieving the natural stone appearance. Installed to either exterior or interior walls it will provide an appealing contrast feature to columns, fireplaces and more.

Offered in a range of colours and textures ensuring there is a stone option for all preferences.

GABLE END ROOF

A gable end roof design results in a more imposing visual impact with cladding raised up to the roof apex the eye is drawn to the high point. Most roofs today are a combination of gable and hip to maximise the floor area available while retaining the impact value and street appeal. The inclusion of a gable end roof enables the incorporation of attic truss designs and attic ladder allowing for additional storage areas in the roof space.

HIP End ROOF

A hip roof design creates a lower profile roof line allowing for a larger home on a smaller site without infringing on any height to boundary requirements. While the lower profile reduces the visual impact, increasing the roof pitch and selecting complementary roofing material and profile can enhance this style.

MonoPITCH

As the name suggests the roof is on one plane. Included in the more contemporary designs they can be a single plane or include multiple planes providing a more complex architectural design. Coupled with high walls and raking angles it creates a sophisticated modern home with huge visual impact.
